What is it?
Merchant Account Signup
What does it do?
- Allows an organization to create a merchant account so they can accept online donations, including credit cards, debit cards, and ACH payments.
- When submitted, the application is usually approved and active within 24 hours.
- You receive email notification when your organization is approved, and the features of the Giving area appear on your Admin screen.
How can you use it?
- An “authorized signer” of your organization completes the application and authorizes your organization ’s merchant account
- Use the checklist in Giving>Information to gather information needed for the application.
- Review the definitions and descriptions in Giving>Information for more detailed information.
